On 11-13 February 2025, our partner project NATURANCE organised a webstival (web festival) on “Advancing Finance Innovations for Nature-Based Solutions”. The online event focused on nature-based insurance and investment instruments for ecosystem restoration as a means to enhance the efforts towards climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.

Experts from the sectors of finance, natural disaster, NBS, along with government representatives delved into interesting discussions to explore sustainable finance principles, and emphasise the importance of financial systems in promoting resilience and disaster risk reduction.

ᴇNᴀBʟS could not but contribute to NATURANCE’s efforts in raising awareness about the topic by preparing a short article which also incorporated the element of education.
