The ᴇNᴀBʟS consortium undoubtedly had their hands full in September 2024. During the month, project partners were analysing the results of the surveys, organising the 2nd Plenary Meeting to take place in Vienna, Austria, and participating in two NetworkNature events.
On 24th & 25th September 2024, the aforementioned initiative brought together in Brussels, Belgium, domain experts and enthusiasts for two NBS-filled days.
The 1st day featured a NBS Task Forces (TFs) Cluster Meeting, with access restricted to TF members only. It focused on fostering ideas related to the NetworkNature Labs (NN Labs), four – step open calls with the objective to promote and facilitate the development of new activities, guidelines, material, etc. on Nature-based Solutions (NBS). Being part of the NBS Education TF, ᴇNᴀBʟS could not be absent from the meeting.
Following the excitement of the previous day, on 25th September 2024, NetworkNature organised its Annual Event. This year’s theme? “Busting myths: People with nature”, with the focus on pinpointing myths related to ecosystem restoration and management which may be obstructing transformative change, as well as biodiversity and ecosystems restoration. Contrary to the first event which was only for TF members, the latter was open to the public.
Bart Kapteijns, who attended both events on behalf of ᴇNᴀBʟS and ICA, wrote about his experience there. Click on the following links to read more.
