ᴇNᴀBʟS and EcoServ Join Forces at the 3rd International Conference on The Transformative Economy

The 3rd International Conference on “The Transformative Economy: Green Transition, Institutional Quality and Value Creation” will take place from 7–9 October 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia, bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and experts from various disciplines to explore pathways towards sustainable and resilient development.

The conference is organised by Yerevan State University (YSU), Faculty of Economics and Management, in collaboration with The Regional Science Academy (TRSA), and aims to foster knowledge exchange on green transition, institutional transformation, sustainable development, and innovative approaches to value creation.

Within the framework of the conference, team members of the ᴇNᴀBʟS and EcoServ projects will contribute to the thematic session “Sustainable Ecosystem Management and Nature-Based Solutions”, organised and chaired by Verena Radinger-Peer and Tigran Keryan from BOKU University, Vienna. The session will highlight the importance of ecosystem-based approaches, nature-based solutions, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable ecosystem management as key elements for addressing current environmental and socio-economic challenges.

The collaboration between ᴇNᴀBʟS and EcoServ reflects a shared commitment to advancing knowledge exchange, research capacity development, and higher education transformation in the fields of biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and sustainable natural resource management. Both projects emphasise the importance of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation, as well as participatory approaches, to promote inclusive and sustainable solutions.

A particular focus of the collaboration is the integration of biodiversity and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) into higher education curricula, strengthening the capacity of future generations of professionals and researchers to address complex sustainability challenges.

We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and interested stakeholders to submit their abstracts and join us in Yerevan, Armenia, for this inspiring exchange of knowledge and experiences.
