On 22 May 2026, the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies project NBS Academy hosted its final online conference, “Bridging Practice, Policy, and Research in NBS Education and Teacher Training”. The event brought together educators, teacher trainers, researchers, policymakers, and EU project partners to explore the future of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in education.
The conferencee featured several sessions, focusing on teacher training, research and policy, and the future of NBS education. ᴇNᴀBʟS was represented in the synergies session, where the coordinator presented the project and joined a panel discussion with Scientix and LOESS.

The discussion explored how to turn synergies into meaningful collaboration rather than token gestures, how to connect projects working on different aspects of environmental education, and how to find common ground for joint actions and strategies. Panellists reflected on the positive impacts achieved through initiatives such as the NetworkNature Task Force 5 on education, the obstacles to building strong synergies, and ways to strengthen collaboration at the European level, offering key advice for future NBS and sustainability education initiatives.
