As part of ᴇNᴀBʟS, a virtual arboretum was presented at Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy within the framework of the Lithuanian Living Lab. This initiative reflects the project’s focus on strengthening biodiversity awareness, promoting Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), and engaging society through education.

The virtual arboretum is designed as an innovative digital learning tool that allows users to explore plant species, understand their ecological functions, and recognise their role in ecosystems. Beyond its educational value, it serves as a co-creation environment where students, researchers, and the wider community can actively engage with sustainability topics.

The presentation took place during the international agricultural exhibition “Ką pasėsi…2026”, within the educational seminar “See the Arboretum: Visualization and Nature-Based Solutions.”

The seminar programme was structured to provide a comprehensive perspective. It began with an introduction to NBS, Living Lab activities, and ᴇNᴀBʟS. This was followed by a presentation on the visualisation of the arboretum for educational purposes, demonstrating how digital tools can enhance learning experiences.

In addition, the EU Grew project was presented, highlighting its contribution to increasing public understanding of sustainability, climate change, and the European Green Deal. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion, encouraging participants to reflect on practical applications of nature-based solutions and the importance of societal engagement.

The virtual arboretum represents a step forward in integrating science, education, and community involvement, contributing to the development of more sustainable and informed societies.
