ᴇNᴀBʟS’ Lithuanian Living Lab (LL), coordinated by the
Vytautas Magnus University, focuses on biodiversity restoration and the promotion of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for climate change adaptation, soil protection, and community engagement. It integrates NBS into the university's curricula and extracurricular activities, providing hands-on learning opportunities for students. Additionally, it fosters nature-based thinking through public workshops and vocational education programmes, bridging academia and community practices.
Mainly held at the VMU Agriculture Academy (AA) campus, the Lithuanian LL brings together university students and faculty members, local schools, community groups, environmental organisations, municipal authorities, and local businesses to engage in various types of activities (e.g. workshops, seminars, citizen science projects, educational trails, biodiversity and soil experiments, community events).
