Boost skills & capacity building to ensure environmental sustainability and a nature-positive society
by means of biodiversity & Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) learning and teaching.

Our mission

Set the basis of networking and collaboration to promote transdisciplinary dialogue and further embed and unfold NBS concepts and approaches within universities and vocational schools, the professional sphere and society at large.

• Embed NBS concepts and approaches - pathways for biodiversity preservation and climate resilience – in universities, vocational schools, among professionals and society
• Develop and upscale more relational and applied forms of teaching, learning and capacity building
• Promote a Whole Institution Approach – universities become their own Living Labs
• Ensure and promote human health and well-being, social equity and employment opportunities

Our objectives

Our approach

Establish Living Labs in 7 countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Austria, Lithuania, Greece, the Czech Republic) to act as multi-actor platforms that foster transdisciplinary dialogue and engage all levels of society to address biodiversity loss in a holistic way and assist a just transition:
• ‘greening’ the economy in a fair and inclusive way
• creating meaningful work opportunities
• leaving no one behind
